Who We Are

Feed the hungry and help those in trouble. Then your light will
shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will
be as bright as noon.

Clubhouse Services Our Impact

St. Joseph Clubhouse is a free, community-based mental health recovery program in Midtown Houston, serving over 150 adults each year. As an affiliate of Clubhouse International, we provide a safe and stigma-free environment where members living with persistent mental health conditions can access evidence-based recovery services, peer support, and meaningful work opportunities.

Members take part in daily operations like culinary arts, administrative support, horticulture, and communications, building valuable job readiness skills and self-confidence. Our program also includes social events, meals, and WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) programming, all designed to promote structure, purpose, and connection.

With over 20 services offered each day, 85% of our members achieve safe housing and take meaningful steps toward long-term independence and stability.

Who We Are

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.
