Bridging the Digital Divide: Empowering Our Residents Through Technology
Thanks to the dedication of our wonderful volunteers, we are proud to offer computer skills classes at the Clubhouse, the Moran Guest Advancement Center, and at RoseMary’s Place. We are incredibly grateful to one of our volunteer instructors and her family, who recently donated four laptops that our residents can borrow as they work toward their goals.
Access to technology and strong computer skills are essential for individuals seeking employment and stable housing. From completing online job applications and building resumes to communicating with case managers and searching for available housing, digital literacy is no longer optional – it is a critical pathway to independence and long-term stability.
Would you like to support this effort? We welcome donations of laptops and technology, and we invite you to share your computer knowledge by volunteering with our clients.
