New life in our old garden
The St. Joseph Clubhouse has embarked on an exciting new venture by establishing a vibrant vegetable garden, thanks to the enthusiasm and dedication of one of our board members, Chad Patel. This garden has truly become a remarkable blessing for our members. Over the course of the growing season, we have successfully cultivated an impressive variety of fresh produce, including watermelons, crisp green beans, spicy jalapeño peppers, hearty eggplants, and tender okra.

Our committed members, Julio and Emil, play a vital role in maintaining the garden; they diligently harvest the vegetables twice a week and ensure that the plants receive the care they need through regular watering. Recently, we had the pleasure of cooking up a batch of freshly harvested okra, which was served and enjoyed by all our members, adding a delicious touch to our meals.

Excitingly, as we shift into the fall season, we are preparing for our next harvest and can’t wait to share the delightful array of vegetables we have planned. We look forward to capturing beautiful moments and sharing enticing pictures of our garden’s bounty with everyone in our community!
