A Heartwarming Visit from Deacon Dennis & St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church
This past Saturday, RoseMary’s Place welcomed a heartwarming visit from Deacon Dennis and 30 local high school students from St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church.
Arriving with two trucks filled with canned food and hygiene items, the group brought not only supplies but also an incredible spirit of service.
After beginning their morning in Downtown Houston, the volunteers made their way to our community, setting up in the RoseMary’s Place parking lot to distribute donations. Residents came out to fill their bags with essential items, each one greeted with smiles and encouragement from the cheerful students.
Food insecurity remains a significant challenge for many of our residents, all of whom have experienced homelessness in recent times. Acts of kindness like this make a real difference, offering both nourishment and a reminder that our neighbors care.
We are deeply grateful to Deacon Dennis and the St. Max volunteers for their generosity and compassion. We hope more visits are to come!
