GOOD FRIDAY-SPRING FLING at St. JOSEPH’S CLUBHOUSE
We had a wonderful time during our Spring Fling celebration, which truly brought our community together. Our festivities began on Good Friday, a day marked by meaning and reflection. We began the event with engaging arts and crafts activities that transformed the space into a vibrant and inviting atmosphere.
Ms. Julie led the day’s participants, of all ages, as they got creative, making beautiful decorations that showcased their artistic talents. It was heartwarming to witness everyone coming together to discuss and deepen our understanding of why Good Friday is such an important day in our faith, the true significance of the resurrection, and Our Lord and Savior.
Our dedicated video and program manager, Yolanda, shared an inspiring message about the true meaning of Good Friday. Her passion and insights resonated with everyone, enhancing the sense of purpose we sought to celebrate.
After our creative endeavors and meaningful discussions, we gathered for a delightful meal prepared by Ms. Raisia. The menu featured soul food items; chicken, creamy mashed potatoes, seasoned greens, oven baked rolls, and an array of mouthwatering desserts that left everyone wanting more.
We would like to extend a special thank you to our Director, Mr. Darrien, for going the extra mile to ensure that everyone had an unforgettable experience. His leadership played a crucial role in serving meals and creating a fun and welcoming environment for our members. We are incredibly grateful for our entire team, whose hard work and dedication helped make the day a resounding success.
